How to get here

Easy to get here from abroad, see on this link all the ways from UK to reach Normandy.

If you come from/trough Belgium or Netherlands, you will find some informations here in dutch.

 

The Pôle Hippique de Saint-Lô (St Lô equestrian pole) is located close to the heart of the town et spreads is set in 35 hectares of ground.

To come: 

  • by train: SNCF Corail Teoz/TER from Paris, Caen, Cherbourg.

  • by plane: Caen-Carpiquet or Cherbourg-Maupertus airports. Beauvais-Tillé or Paris CDG are further options, 3 hours drive, but can give more flight availabilities.

  • by car: from Paris follow the A14 motorway towards Poissy - Rouen, then follow A13 E05 towards Rouen/Caen, and go on N13 towards Caen. 
    Near Caen, take Périphérique Sud (south ring road), take the exit A84 towards Rennes, then follow A84 until exit 5: Saint-Lô.
    Once on the N174, drive in the direction of Saint-Lô/Centre - Bayeux road - Pôle Hippique de Saint-Lô - Haras National (national stud).

Accomodation

A dedicated park on the Pôle Hippique de Saint-Lô offers hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up for lorries, campervans and caravans.  

No grass pitches for tents available on site, but still possible to have your tent in the parking.

For ponies

More than 200 stables are available, close to the showrings. 

Straw provided. Hay available on site (fee coming soon).

Stable fee : 30€ per stable for all your stay, arriving at the earliest on Wednesday 22nd, July until Monday 27th at the latest.

Several ponies per stable are allowed.

Please note you will need buckets to provide water to the ponies in the stables.

The show will take place on the grass arena "Milord" and the sand arenas "Normandie 2014" and its warm-up.

Stables are close to the rings.

 

Breeders' buffet will take place in the historical premises in the national stud.
